Ordering

How do I place an order?

You can place an order directly through our website by adding products to your basket and completing checkout. Once your order has been placed, you should receive an order confirmation by email.

Does an order confirmation mean my order has been accepted?

An order confirmation means we have received your order. Your order remains subject to payment approval, stock availability, pricing checks and our standard order review process. A contract is normally formed once your order is dispatched.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help, but orders that have already been processed, packed or dispatched may not be cancellable before delivery.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include debit cards, credit cards, accelerated checkout options and other Shopify-supported payment methods.

Can I pay over the phone?

Yes, telephone payments may be available by arrangement. Please contact our sales team if you would prefer to make payment over the phone.

Are payment processing fees refundable?

Where an order is cancelled or returned due to change of mind, payment processing fees are non-refundable where applicable. This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or incorrectly supplied.

Do you offer credit accounts?

Credit accounts may be available to approved local authorities, schools, colleges and other public sector organisations. Credit facilities are subject to approval, verification and agreed payment terms.

Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary depending on product availability, courier service, parcel size and delivery location. Estimated delivery options are shown at checkout where available.

Will I receive tracking information?

Where tracking is available, details will usually be provided by email or directly by the courier once your order has been dispatched.

Do you deliver to the Highlands, islands or remote areas?

Yes, but deliveries to remote areas, Scottish Highlands, UK islands, Northern Ireland and offshore locations may take longer and may be subject to additional courier charges.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

If a courier cannot complete delivery, they may attempt redelivery, leave instructions or return the parcel to us. Additional charges may apply for refused, missed or incorrectly addressed deliveries.

Returns

How do I return an item?

Please contact us before sending anything back. All returns require a Returns Authorisation Number, also known as an RMA. Returns sent without authorisation may be delayed or refused.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

For eligible online purchases, you usually have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods. Items should be returned unused, complete and in their original packaging where possible.

Who pays for return postage?

Unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied, return shipping is normally the customer’s responsibility. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service.

How long does a refund take?

Once your return has been received and checked, any refund due will normally be processed back to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make funds available.

Warranty

Do products come with a warranty?

Most products supplied by UKDJ include a manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated. Warranty terms can vary depending on the brand and product type.

What should I do if my item develops a fault?

Please contact us with your order number, a description of the fault and any helpful photos or video. We may need to inspect the item or follow the manufacturer’s warranty process.

What is not covered by warranty?

Warranty does not usually cover accidental damage, misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, general wear and tear, or faults caused by using the product outside its intended purpose.

Stock & Products

Is everything on the website in stock?

We aim to keep stock information accurate, but availability can change quickly. Some products may be supplied from our warehouse, manufacturers, distributors or special-order channels.

What happens if an item is out of stock?

If an item is unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you where possible to offer an alternative, updated timescale or refund.

Can you advise which product is right for me?

Yes. If you are unsure which product best suits your requirements, contact our team with details of your setup, venue, budget or intended use and we will do our best to help.

Offers & Quotes

Can I make an offer on a product?

On selected products, you may be able to submit a Make an Offer enquiry. Offers are reviewed individually and are subject to stock, supplier pricing and product eligibility.

Do you provide quotes for larger orders?

Yes. For larger orders, venue installations, education purchases or public sector enquiries, please contact us with your product list and requirements.

Can you price match?

We will always try to be competitive, but price matching is not guaranteed. Any comparison must be like-for-like, in stock, from a legitimate UK retailer and include delivery costs where applicable.

Business, Education & Public Sector

Do you supply schools, colleges and local authorities?

Yes. We can supply education, local authority, venue, church, theatre, events and public sector customers. Please contact us if you need a quote, invoice or account support.

Can you provide pro-forma invoices?

Pro-forma invoices may be available by request. Please contact our team with the items required, billing details and delivery address.

Can you help with full systems or package recommendations?

Yes. We can advise on DJ, sound, lighting, venue and installation-style product combinations. Please tell us what you are trying to achieve and any budget or space requirements.
